16-year-old accused of murdering Uber Eats rider

A 16 year-old boy appeared in court today charged with the murder of an Uber Eats driver who was trying to stop his moped being stolen. Iderval De Silva, 46, was found with a head injury on Charlotte Despard Avenue on May 25 at 4.30pm and died later at Wandsworth hospital Mr De Silva had previously served in the Brazilian armed forces and had only been living in London for three months when he was killed.
