Prison officers accused over death of suicidal female inmate

Three prison officers  have appeared in court charged with gross negligence manslaughter after a suicidal female prisoner was found hanged in her cell. James Abbot, 43, Laura Bird, 25, and Emma Cass, 24, were working at HMP Downview in Banstead, Surrey when Leona Burn killed herself.
