Appalling convictions of mugger who left dog walker fighting for his life

A mugger accused of stabbing a dog walker in the head with a screwdriver has convictions for similar offences stretching back a decade, a court heard. Jermaine McDonald, 26, leapt off his bicycle and launched a vicious unprovoked attack on Italian joiner Sinuhe Pianella, 31, in Dulwich Park on 27 April, jurors heard. Mr Pianella had been sitting on the grass chatting to Marilena Stracke as the pair watched their dogs playing when McDonald allegedly demanded his wallet and phone….
