Two conmen who tried to swindle banks out of £1 million by churning out fraudulent cheques from their spare bedroom have been jailed for a total of ten-and-a-half years today (Weds). Godwin Douherty, 43, and Oluseun Olukoya, 34, had hundreds of banking documents and stolen cheques made out for thousands of pounds at the address in South Ockendon in Essex.
