Boyfriend accused of talent show star murder

The boyfriend of a ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ star has appeared in court  charged with her murder. Desmond Sylva, 40, stabbed 31-year-old Simonne Kerr in the neck in her Battersea home on 15 August this year, it is alleged. Police were called to the south west London address shortly before 12.40pm and Ms Kerr was pronounced dead at the scene despite paramedics battling to save her.
