A cabaret performer who was rescued by a cleaner when he became locked in a bank had tried to sell his story to The Sun, a court heard. Christian Downing, 43, entered Lloyds in Brixton, just before closing and asked to use their telephone. He was shown into a side room of the bank where he remained until after closing time.
