Kissing coppers trashed investigations

Two lazy detectives who dropped child abuse investigations so they could enjoy romantic Chinese meals together are facing the end of their careers. Det Con Sharon Patterson, 49, and her boyfriend, former DC Lee Pollard, 47, sabotaged cases because they ‘had a cynical disdain’ for the children they were supposed to protect.
