Cops to stand trial over car crash

  Three police officers accused of lying about a collision involving a marked police car and a VW Golf to get the driver prosecuted will stand trial next year. Shaun Charnock, 33, Ryan Francis, 26, and Max Michel 27, allegedly submitted witness statements which resulted in Raj Mehra being charged with careless driving.
