Death motorist was Brazilian driving instructor

  A former driving instructor who ran over and killed an upholsterer when he popped out to buy a pint of milk was spared jail today. Brazil-born Maisa Domingues, 36, failed to look out for pedestrians and hit 55-year-old Stephen Law as she drove to work in her black Ford Galaxy people carrier. She was doing 25mph along the 30mph Kingston Road in New Malden, south London, and would have had between four and six seconds to spot Mr Law….
