Engineer ‘assaulted Parliamentary lawyer after tagging his lanyard’

An engineer attacked a parliamentary lawyer outside a Westminster bar favoured by MPs and Peers, a court heard today (mon). Ronald Freeman, 57, shoved Peter Brooksbank after a row erupted at the Sports and Social Bar and spilled into the street, it is claimed. Mr Brooksbank, 63, was taken to hospital by ambulance after police were called to the bar located just yards from the House of Commons.
