Five years for killer driver who mowed down two women

A driver who sped through two red lights and mowed down two women, leaving one dead and the other in a ‘vegetative state’, was jailed for more than five years. Luis Ramos, 29, ploughed into 42 year-old Corina Cretu and Loredana Toma, 29, on Lea Bridge Road, Leyton, east London on 15 January.
