Former Charlton star ‘in £5m Ponzi fraud’

A former Premier League player appeared in court today charged with spending profits from a £5 million investment fraud on ‘personal expenses and lifestyle’. Ex Charlton Athletic defender, Richard Rufus, 44, is accused of enticing investors into a massive foreign currency scam.
