Fraudster’s cruel iPhone scam

A woman who fleeced a 15-year-old girl out of hundreds of pounds in an iPhone scam was spared jail. Victoria Creed, 37, cheated the teenager out of £625 after offering the smartphone for sale on a website. The girl tried to make the payment via PayPal, and when that did not work, Creed convinced her to transfer the funds directly into her bank account.
