Fugitive killer faces life sentence for savage murder

A killer who became one of the world’s most wanted men after he slit a council worker’s throat in an ‘act of pitiless savagery’ is facing a life sentence. Shane O’Brien, 31, slashed Josh Hanson’s neck as he drank with a small group including his girlfriend at the RE Bar, in Hillingdon, west London, in October 2015. Mr Hanson, from Kingsbury, northwest London, died at the scene from his wounds while his killer fled to Romania on a private jet….
