Gym user’s SIM cards switched by fraud gang

Fraudsters replaced the SIM cards in gym users’ phones as they exercised to plunder £230,000 from their bank accounts, a court heard. Ashley Singh, 35, and Tony Clark, 29, broke into lockers at fitness centres across London and the South East. They photographed their victims’ credit cards and replaced the SIM card with a dummy to take control of their bank accounts.
