Hammer attack in TK Maxx

A hammer-wielding shoplifter who helped himself to hundreds of pounds worth of goods from TK Maxx and attacked a security guard was spared jail. Paul Teddy, 37, swiped nearly £200 worth of clothes and stores from the American apparel store in Uxbridge, west London in June 16. When challenged by security guard David Rutwaz the thief beat him over the head with his hammer, the Old Bailey heard. Teddy claimed he was stole the goods to provide for his family…
