Hyde Park killer faces life sentence

An illegal immigrant who beat a gay carer to death in London’s Hyde Park a day after he was arrested for shoplifting is facing life behind bars. The ‘broken body’ of 62-year-old Jairo Medina was found by a groundsman under a tree near Speaker’s Corner on 12 August last year.
