‘I didn’t murder him – it was self defence’

A Congolese man has denied fatally stabbing a 20-year-old outside a railway station and will claim it was in self defence, a court heard. Florent Okende, 20, is accused of murdering Ché Morrison outside Ilford Railway Station in Cranbrook Road, on 26 February. Mr Morrison died as a result of a single stab wound to his heart.
