Jail for Tube brawler

A Tube passenger involved in a violent rush-hour brawl has been jailed for 10 weeks. Ahmed Adirset Qasim, 28, battled with two other passengers in a Northern Line carriage between Old Street and London Bridge then carried on fighting on the platform. British Transport Police officers, who were alerted by a member of the public, arrested Qasim as well as Ahmed Ali Jama, 24, while a third man avoided capture.
