Jail for Romanian crook who used a 3D printer in card skim fraud


  A Romanian fraudster who was caught with state-of-the-art credit card skimming equipment and a 3D printer has been locked up for four and a half years. Ciprian Staicu, 30, was caught with an ‘Aladdin’s Cave’ of sophisticated software at his home in Hornchurch, Essex, last month. The haul included card skimming equipment as well as computers, the 3D printer and a host of forged identity documents featuring Staicu’s photograph.
