Jailed banker can’t be extradited from France

A fugitive French banker who rigged a European lending rate has been ordered to pay back £657,000. Philippe Moryoussef, 50, was convicted of conspiracy to defraud in July after fiddling the key lending benchmark for Euros across worldwide financial markets – but fled to France before his trial began.
