A betting shop cashier who staged a fake robbery with her father to steal £3,500 walked free from court with a suspended sentence. Chevvine Darling, 28, was working behind the counter at Ladbrokes in Mill Hill, Barnet, north London when her dad, John White, wandered in wearing a hat and scarf.
