Lithuanian stamper faces life sentence

A Lithuanian who kicked a homeless man to death after inviting him back to his flat for drink is facing a life sentence. Iringas Makasejevas, 40, stamped on fellow countryman Edgaras Kondrotas, 28, while the victim was defenceless on the floor. Mr Kondrotas was found dead at the flat in Forest Gate, east London, on 12 January this year. He had suffered multiple injuries including blunt force trauma to the abdomen.
