London Bridge paramedic stole £30,000 from stricken mother

A paramedic who was one of the first at the scene of the London Bridge terror attack stole over £30,000 from her dementia suffering mother, a court heard. Kelly Whale, 55, gained power of attorney over Vera Tuncell’s finances after she was diagnosed in April 2015. Ms Tuncell was put into a home and Whale was tasked with making care home payments.
