JOHNSON: DAD CAUGHT IN COP'S PERVERT SNARE

FARNBOROUGH, HANTS A married dad who was trapped in a police sting after he made perverted suggestions to a 12-year-old girl he met online has been ordered to undergo mental health treatment. Dominic Johnson, 37, sent a friend request to the girl, known online as 'Juicy Lucy', before bombarding her with sexually-charged comments and encouraging her to pleasure herself. Unknown to father of one Johnson, the girl he was chatting to was actually an undercover police officer. 'Police were conducting an operation targeting people who expressed sexual interests in children', said prosecutor Leslie Jones.

RAMSEY:ACCUSED RAPIST CLAIMS HE MUST HAVE BEEN SLEEP WALKING

POPLAR, EAST LONDON A party host raped a guest then claimed he must have been sleepwalking during the sex attack, the Old Bailey heard today (Tues). Darren Ramsey, 24, was linked to the crime with a one-in-a-billion DNA match but insists he was unconscious and remembers nothing, it was said. He forced himself on a sleeping woman, 22, when she crashed out following a celebration at his east London flat, jurors were told. Prosecutor Paul Jarvis: 'Mr Ramsey says he was asleep when he had sex with her and therefore his actions ... were all done when he was effectively unconscious.

TAYLOR-BELL:FASHION DESIGNER ACCUSED OF SCAM ON MODELLING AGENCY

ISLINGTON, NORTH LONDON A fashion designer tried to scam a world famous modelling agency out of nearly £4,000 using bogus credit card details, a court heard. Seona Taylor-Bell, 26, allegedly gave false details to M&P Models to extract payments of £720 and £3,091.55 in March and April last year, just four days after being hired as a talent scout.

BORNMANN:OUT OF HOURS GP FAILED TO SPOT PREGNANCY COMPLICATIONS

HAMPSHIRE An out-of-hours GP failed to spot potentially fatal pregnancy complications while working back-to-back shifts, a hearing was told today (Tues). Dr Volker Bornmann clocked on for a total 'dangerously long' 13-hour stretches for 24 straight days, it is alleged. The German-born medic put in the hours at different organisations and continued to work excessively despite being warned about the risks. He is facing a misconduct hearing at the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service in Manchester.

TU:COUPLE WHO MADE FORTUNE RUNNING BROTHEL EMPIRE FACE JAIL

LEEDS; CANARY WHARF, DOCKLANDS; CENTRAL LONDON A husband and wife behind a chain of brothels they claimed were innocent massage parlours are both facing jail today (Tues). Simon Hirst, 51, and Qiongmei Tu, 28, were caught out after an undercover officer stripped for a naked massage in a 'test' purchase. He enjoyed a rub down and shower with two Eastern European called 'Nicola' and 'Chloe' at a branch of Mojo Massage run by Hirst and Tu. But he declined the option of a 'happy ending' and the couple were arrested, Southwark Crown Court heard.

WHYLIE: MODEL TURNED TO CRIME TO PAY FOR 'MALLET TOE' OP

BRENTFORD A model used stolen credit card details to pay for £5,000 worth of surgery to correct her 'deformed' toes, a court heard today (Tues). Denise Whylie, 38, allegedly gave a fake name before booking herself in for surgery for her 'Mallet toe deformity' at a top London clinic. The disorder meant her second and third toes were abnormally long, which requires complicated surgery to correct. After a first consultation with top Harley Street specialists the Premier Foot and Ankle Centre, she booked surgery under the name 'Denise Stephens', Blackfriars Crown Court heard.

CRAWLEY: EIGHT FACE TRIAL OVER £5M LANDBANKING FRAUD

BEKCKENHAM; BROMLEY; ORPINGTON; PENGE; CHISELHURST, NEW ELTHAM; BRIGHTON Eight men accused of carrying out a landbanking fraud to dupe investors out of more than £5m are to stand trial next year. Scott Crawley, 35, is said to have masterminded the scam between 2008 and 2011 through the firms Plott UK, European Property Investments (EPI) and Stirling Alexander. He is accused alongside Daniel Forsyth, 30, Ross Peters, 27, Aaron Petrou, 46, Ricky Mitchie, 24, Adam Hawkins, 28, and Brendan Daley, 38, of conspiracy to defraud. The eighth defendant, solicitor Dale Walker, 53, is facing fraud charges and an allegation of money laundering in relation to the case.

BUTHELEZI: NURSE 'CALLED ELDERLY PATIENT A F******* B****'

BROCKWORTH, GLOUCESTER A 'stressed' nurse verbally abused a pensioner who was lying helpless on the floor, a hearing was told today (Tues). South African-born Winnie Buthelezi shouted: 'Why did you get out of your chair, you f*****g b***h.' Buthelezi forcefully rolled the elderly woman over onto her back while her arm was trapped underneath her and bundled her into a chair, The Nursing and Midwifery Council heard.

RIBCHESTER: ENGINEER IN £920,000 INJURY CLAIM CAUGHT PLAYING RUGBY

SUNDERLAND; WASHINGTON, TYNE AND WEAR A refrigeration engineer was caught trying to claim nearly £1m for a work accident after he was spotted playing rugby. David Ribchester, 31, told specialists that he was no longer able to take part in the sport, play the drums for his band or even carry his infant daughter. His lawyers drew up a schedule of costs for his and his daughter's care which totalled £923,000. But private detectives hired by the insurance company filmed him driving, training with his local rugby team and carrying his daughter.

FISHER:FORGERS WHO PLOTTED TO FLOOD UK WITH FAKE POUND COINS JAILED

WALTHAM ABBEY, HORNCHURCH, ESSEX; ENFIELD, NORTH LONDON Three forgers who plotted to flood the UK with a record-breaking £1.5million worth of fake one pound coins were jailed for a total of 12 years today (tues). Ringleader Kevin Fisher, 54, recruited Daniel Sullivan, 29, and Mark Abbott, 43, to help him flood the country with counterfeit coins - in the biggest ever case of its kind. Cops unearthed a huge stash of gold-coloured blank discs, ready to be transformed into metal currency, in two 40ft shipping containers at Park View Farm, in Waltham Abbey, Essex. A further £24,500 worth of coins were also found in a van parked at the site.

DELIJAH: 20 YEARS FOR RAIDER'S CELEB BIG BROTHER KILLING

BARNEHURST, KENT; WALTHAMSTOW, EAST LONDON A masked robber who killed an elderly businessman after he stepped outside his home to avoid watching Celebrity Big Brother was jailed for 20 years today (Tues). Illegal immigrant Gezim Delijah, 40, ambushed Ted Syrad as he smoked a cigarette in his garden before forcing him back inside, tying him up and demanding he hand over cash. Mr Syrad, 64, had only left his bungalow so his wife Anne, 62, could watch the Channel 5 reality show in peace. Delijah and an accomplice, who spoke with an Irish accent but has never been traced, bound the couple with duct tape before beating them while they ransacked the property for valuables.
