Nurse nicked cash from helpless woman

A nurse who swiped £200 from a dementia sufferer at a care home has been kicked out of the profession. Michael Lewis-Shermer took the cash from the resident at Sefton Hall Nursing Home, near Exeter, Devon, on October 4 last year. Police were called to the care home later that day after the matter was reported, the Nursing and Midwifery Council heard.
