Nurse struck off for charity swindle

A nurse who stole almost £34,000 from the mental health charity she managed has been struck off. Elaine Fox, in her early 50s, used her role as manager at the East Neuk Recovery Group Initiative (ENeRGI) to ‘take advances’ on her own wages. The charity, based in St Monans, Scotland, is government funded and aims to help people with mental health and substance abuse problems.
