Nurse struck off for drugs blunder

A nurse who accidentally gave a powerful drug to a patient and tried to cover up her tracks has been struck off. Sonja Hart was working at the Acute Orthopaedic Ward at Airedale General Hospital at Keighley, near Bradford, West Yorkshire at the time of the blunder. Hart was supposed to give the patient a diuretic called Oxybutynin to help him urinate but administered Oxycontin instead.
