Nurse suspended for slapping disabled patient

A nurse who slapped a ‘vulnerable’ disabled patient in the face before grabbing him by the throat was suspended for a year. Christopher Allen, 37, lashed out when the wheelchair-bound man bit him during meal time at Devonshire Avenue Care Home in Nottingham.
