Oil boss denies corruption

A former oil executive today has denied charges of making corrupt payments to Iraqi officials today. (Tues). Stephen Whiteley, 63, pleaded not guilty to two charges of conspiracy to make corrupt payments dating back almost a decade. He is accused of working with Monaco-based oil consultancy company Unaoil as a subcontractor for an Iraqi pipeline project between March 2009 and May 2010.
