Opera singer denies fleecing widow
A world-class opera singer denied defrauding a widow out of more than £100,000 and told a court: ‘I’m not heartless.’ Andrew Amdur, 48, is said to have fleeced Elizabeth Shaheen, 66, by pretending he would organise a party in memory of her late husband.
