‘Pet Shop boys made me push people on to the tracks’

A mentally ill passenger who pushed a former chairman of Eurotunnel onto Tube tracks claims he was ‘sent’ to the West End after listening to a Pet Shop Boys record, a court heard. Sir Robert Malpas, 91, was left sprawled beneath the tracks as a train hurtled into Marble Arch on 27 April last year. He was saved by heroic French teacher Riyad El Hussani who burned his hand on the electrified track as he hauled the engineer to safety….
