Twelve members of a violent east London gang who targeted and robbed pensioners have been sentenced to a total of 38 years imprisonment at Snaresbrook Crown Court. The court heard how the gang would place one of their members inside a targeted high-street bank and wait for a potential victim. If they spotted a vulnerable or elderly victim withdrawing a large sum of money they would alert their gang members on the street outside.
