Harprit Shari used his access to sensitive computer systems to transfer huge sums after falling behind with his household bills. The 27-year-old tried to outsmart fraud investigators at ICICI, an Indian bank with branches in the UK, by first depositing the tainted cash in other customers' accounts, before moving it on to himself.
