Police hunt ‘High Court safe raider’

An alleged burglar accused of stealing a safe from an office in the Royal Courts of Justice is facing arrest after he failed to attend court today (weds). Peter Cloonan, 32, is charged with breaking into The Porter’s Office at the High Court on the Strand in central London. Cloonan allegedly stole a ‘safe with correspondence and personal effects’ during the break-in on February 10.
