Snoozing nurse failed to react when patient collapsed and died

  A nurse who fell asleep on the job and and failed to act urgently when a frail resident collapsed and died has been suspended for nine months. Uyabongeka Yengwa was found dozing underneath a blanket by a colleague at the Benoni Care Home in Penzance, Cornwall.
