Spiteful cyber crook gets four years for £77 million hack

A spiteful cyber-criminal who took part in a £77m hack on mobile network TalkTalk after failing a college computer course was today (mon) jailed for four years. Daniel Kelley, 22, was ‘one of the more prolific hackers’ behind the massive data breach in October 2015. He used the stolen data to blackmail former chief executive Dido Harding in a series of emails demanding payment of 465 bitcoin – now worth more than £285,000 – in exchange for not releasing it….
