Teacher banned after drunken car crash

A maths teacher who crashed into a colleague’s car after drinking from a secret wine bottle in her desk has been barred from the profession. Geeta Rana, 53, had filled up a plastic bottle at home and hidden at Joseph Whitaker School in Rainworth, Nottinghamshire.
