Birdman admits smuggling rare eggs

A former special forces soldier caught at Heathrow Airport with live bird’s eggs strapped to his body has admitted smuggling charges. Jeffrey Lendrum, 56, also known as John Smith was caught with had 19 rare eggs of hawks, eagles and vultures taped to his chest on 26 June last year.
