Three accused of teen murder in court

Three men accused of stabbing a teenager to death on the streets of south London will stand trial in February.
Jamall Longergan, Fabio Cela, and Rodney Mukasa, all 19, allegedly attacked Andre Aderemi in South Croydon on 16 August.
The 19-year-old was found with multiple wounds on Heather Way in Selsdon at around 7.40pm.
Despite the efforts of paramedics and an air ambulance crew, he died in hospital a short time later.
He became the 8th teenager to die from a stabbing on the streets of the capital this year.
The three defendants appeared at the Old Bailey dressed in dark green prison tracksuits charged with one count of murder.
Listing their trial for 13 February next year Judge Michael Topolski warned the men to stay in touch with their lawyers.
A fourth man, Ali Zahawy, 18, is due at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on today also accused of Mr Aderemi’s murder.
He is due to appear at the Old Bailey on Thursday.
Tributes to Mr Aderemi poured in following his death.
Suzie Voce wrote on social media: ‘I’m so sorry this happened. No one deserves this. My thoughts are with his family. RIP Andre.’
Amy Macartney said: ‘I can’t stop thinking about this. Today it’s really hit home that life is way too short.’
Longergan of Woodcroft Road, Thornton Heath, Cela, of Fryston Avenue, Shirley and Mukasa, of Green View Avenue, Croydon, are due back in court for a pleas and case management hearing on 8 November.
