Trial for gun running suspects

Six men accused of plotting to smuggle guns into the UK and sell them to criminals will stand trial in January next year. The gang are said to have imported a variety of weapons including Makarov pistols using cars fitted with secret compartments. Prosecutors claim the conspiracy lasted from 1 January 2016 to February 28 this year and involved dozens of firearms.
