Widow’s claims against opera singer are ‘fantasy’

A widow who claims she was fleeced out of more than £100,000 by a world famous opera singer was living in a ‘fantasy world’, a court heard. Andrew Amdur, 48, allegedly fleeced Elizabeth Shaheen, 66, by pretending he would organise a party in memory of her late husband and make a payment to charity on her behalf.
