A woman battered her partly-paralysed husband to death with a broom handle because she ‘couldn’t bear any more,’ a court heard. Packiam Ramanathan, 73, is said to have murdered her 76-year-old spouse Kanagusabi Ramanathan at the home they shared in Burges Road, East Ham, east London, last Friday (21).
