Ex Spurs star smashed up Tesco and punched worker when he could not get cigarettes

Former Tottenham Hotspur star Chris Armstrong trashed his local Tesco store and punched a worker to the floor after he was told he could not buy cigarettes, a court heard. The 50-year-old striker ran amok at the supermarket in Fulham Road, Chelsea, when he was told the shop was shut at 2.15am on July 18.
