Romanian thief preyed on man he met in private members club

A professional thief who stole thousands of pounds worth of property from a man he had met in a private members club has been jailed for a year. Romanian Sandor Biro, 40, stole Sunil Daswani’s iPad, three credit cards, a belt, a bag, two bottles of champagne and a watch worth £10,000 after going back to Mr Daswani’s flat in Park Lane.
