Student cleared of kicking bar manager in the genitals

A criminology student accused of kicking the manager of a West End cocktail bar in the privates was cleared after ‘comprehensive failures’ by the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS). Amy Warner, 20, was allegedly seen swinging her leg into Alex Langdown’s groin at the Piccadilly Institute on Shaftesbury Avenue on April 16 this year. Prosecutors claimed the incident was an ‘extremely aggressive assault’, but Miss Warner said she had only ‘lifted her leg’ because Mr Langdown was standing on her foot….
