Therapist accused of cleaning out his mother’s bank accounts is cleared

A therapist wept as he was cleared by jury of stealing nearly £270,000 from his mother’s bank account. Jonathan Feld, 62, was said to have helped himself to large sums of cash belonging to Hannah Feld, 89, between 2014 and 2018. Mrs Feld, who retired to Tel Aviv with her late husband Monty in 1988, was suffering from ‘significant cognitive decline’ at the time of the alleged thefts.
