A taxi driver caught ferrying £100,000 worth of ‘dirty’ money has been spared jail. Dale Waterman’s silver Hackney Carriage was spotted by detectives pulling over in Leasowes Road, Leyton, shortly before 1pm on Sunday 28 August last year. Two Asian men approached the taxi where the trio chatted briefly before the 54-year-old driver opened up one of the nearside doors.
