Mosque worshippers had to run though flames after arson attack

Two worshippers had to run through the flames to escape an arson attack at Peacehaven Mosque, a court heard. Ricky Ryder, 38, and Jack Slowey, 34, are said to have set the blaze on 4 October. The fire caused damage to the front of the Sussex worship site in Phyllis Avenue but the two worshippers inside the mosque escaped uninjured.
