Killer had knife charges dropped

A crazed knifeman today (Thurs) admitted stabbing a top university lecturer to death on his own doorstep just days after charges for carrying weapons were dropped. Femi Nandap, 23, repeatedly knifed Dr Jeroen Ensink outside his home in Islington, north London on the afternoon of 29 December last year. The 41-year-old biologist, who worked at the prestigious London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, was pronounced dead at the scene in Hilldrop Crescent.
